 미전국 최우수 병원 탑 250에 텍사스 주내 병원 총 32개가 포함됐다.
헬스케어 정보 웹사이트인 ‘헬스그레이드’(HealthGrades)는 미전역 총 4,500여개 종합병원들을 대상으로 최근 3년간 4,500만개 이상 리뷰 등 모두 31개 지표를 토대로 비교해 ‘미국의 탑 250 병원’(America’s Top 250 Hospitals for 2025)을 선정, 발표했다. 헬스그레이드는 구체적인 순위를 매기지는 않고 전국 병원 상위 1%에 속하는 ‘탑 50’, 상위 2%에 속하는 ‘탑 100’, 상위 5%까지인 탑 250을 공개했다.  
텍사스에서는 탑 250에 총 32개 병원이 이름을 올렸으며 이중 5개는 탑 100에, 1개는 탑 50에 들었다. 타운별로는 달라스와 휴스턴, 그리고 오스틴이 각각 3개로 가장 많았다. 텍사스에서 유일하게 탑 50에 속한 병원은 휴스턴 감리교 병원(Houston Methodist Hospital)이었다. 휴스턴 감리교 병원은 거의 모든 진료과목에서 최우수 평가를 받고 있지만 특히 외래 정형외과(Outpatient Orthopedic Surgery)의 경우 전국 최고를 자랑한다.
탑 100에 포함된 병원은 휴스턴 감리교 병원 외에 베일러 스캇 & 화이트 메디컬 센터-맥키니(Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-McKinney), 에딘버그 타운내 닥터스 하스피털 엣 르네상스(Doctors Hospital at Renaissance), 휴스턴 감리교 베이타운 병원(Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital), 달라스 소재 윌리암 P. 클레멘츠 주니어 유니버시티 병원(William P. Clements JR. University Hospital) 등이다.
