Craig sees his friend Marion arrive to work late.  
(크레이그가 직장 동료 매리언이 출근 시간에 늦은 걸 보고 있다.)
 
Craig: You're a little late, aren't you?
 
크레이그: 좀 늦었어 응?
 
Marion: I had to put my car in the shop.

 
매리언: 차를 정비소에 맡기고 오느라고 그랬어.
 
Craig: Not again! Why don't you buy a new car?
 
크레이그: 또! 새 차를 사지 그래?
 
Marion: I just got this car paid off.
 
매리언: 할부금을 이제야 다 갚았는데.
 
Craig: That's a good time to get rid of it.
 
크레이그: 시기상으로도 팔아 치우기 좋네.
 
Marion: I don't want to have to make car payments.
 
매리언: 자동차 할부금 내기 싫어.
 
Craig: But it's a piece of junk. There's always something wrong with it.
 
크레이그: 하지만 고물 덩어리잖아. 이제 계속해서 문제가 생긴다고.
 
Marion: I can't afford a new car right now.
 
매리언: 지금 당장은 새 차 살 여유가 없어.
 
Craig: Can you afford to lose your job? You've been late to work a lot lately.
 
크레이그: 직장 그만 둘 여유는 있고? 요즘 지각을 많이 하잖아.
 
Marion: I see what you mean. I'll think about it.
