Kent: I finally get a raise and I find out the kids need braces and we need another car.
 
켄트: 겨우 월급이 올랐는데 애들 치아교정도 해야 하고 차도 한 대 더 사야 되니.  
 
Jane: That's life. You shouldn't be surprised.
 

제인: 사는 게 그렇지. 낙심하지마.  
 
Kent: I know but I was hoping we could sock some money away.
 
켄트: 알아. 하지만 돈을 좀 모으겠거니 했는데.
 
Jane: I don't think that's a possibility.
 
제인: 가능할 것 같지 않아.
 
Kent: Maybe I should look for a second job.
 
켄트: 다른 일을 하나 더 해야 할까 봐.  
 
Jane: Then we would never see you.
 
제인: 그럼 당신 얼굴 보기도 힘들 거야.
 
Kent: We have to do something. We need to save money.
 
켄트: 뭔가 해야 돼. 저축을 해야지.
 
Jane: We can cut down on somethings.
 
제인: 씀씀이를 줄일 수도 있지.
 
Kent: That's a good idea. Where should we start?
 
켄트: 그건 괜찮은 생각이네. 뭐부터 줄일까?
 
Jane: We can cancel the cable TV.
