Jeff has been waiting for his girlfriend Kelly.  
 
(제프가 여자친구 켈리를 기다리고 있다.)
 
Kelly: I'm sorry to be late but I got on the wrong freeway.
 
켈리: 늦어서 미안해. 프리웨이를 잘못 탔어.
 

Jeff: Why didn't you call me and let me know? I've been waiting for almost an hour.
 
제프: 전화라도 해서 알려주지. 거의 한 시간이나 기다렸어.
 
Kelly: I don't like to use my cell phone when I'm driving.
 
켈리: 운전중에 휴대폰 사용하는 거 싫단 말이야.
 
Jeff: Well you could have pulled over and called me.
 
제프: 그럼 차를 갓길에 세우고 전화하면 되잖아.
 
Kelly: I thought about it but I didn't want to waste the time.
 
켈리: 그 생각도 했는데 시간 낭비하기 싫어서.
 
Jeff: That really gets me! Don't you think I was wasting my time waiting for you?
 
제프: 정말 화나네! 너 기다리느라고 내가 시간 낭비했다는 생각은 안해?
 
Kelly: Sure. That's why I wanted to get here as soon as I could.
 
켈리: 했지 그럼. 그래서 최대한 빨리 오려고 했다니까.
 
Jeff: I would have been more understanding if you'd told me where you were.
 
제프: 어디쯤 왔는지 얘기라도 해줬으면 덜 답답했잖아.  
 
Kelly: Well, I hope you can get over it so we can have a fun tonight.
 
켈리: 글쎄 화를 좀 풀어야 오늘밤 재미있게 보내지.  
 
Jeff: It may take a while but I'll try.
 
제프: 시간이 걸리겠지만 그래도 노력해보지.
