Stella: Oh that's great! I lost another dollar in this stupid vending machine. It really gets me!
 
스텔라: 이런 이런! 바보같은 벤딩 머신에 또 달러를 뺐겨버렸어. 정말 성가셔!
 

Trent: I'm not surprised. It's always broken-down.
 
트렌트: 놀랄 것도 없네 뭐. 항상 고장나 있는 걸.
 
Stella: Yeah. It eats money relentlessly.
 
스텔라: 그래. 끊임없이 돈을 먹어대는 거야.
 
Trent: Let me try. Whenever things like this don't work hit it and it'll work.
 
트렌트: 내가 해볼게. 잘 안될 때는 힘껏 때리면 될 거야.
 
Stella: You mean sometimes.
 
스텔라: 어쩔 때는 그렇지.
 
(Trent hits the vending machine hard.) Bang! Bang! Bang!

Trent: Hmmm … it usually works.
 
트렌트: 음…. 보통은 이러면  
 
Stella: Not this time. What are you going to do next?
 
스텔라: 이번엔 아니야. 이젠 어떡할 거야?
 
Trent: When all else fails kick it.
 
트렌트: 모든 게 안되면 발로 차.
 
Stella: Wait! I think that's a bad idea.
 
스텔라: 잠깐만! 그러면 안될 것 같아.
 
Trent: You're probably right. Let's put an out of order sign on it.
 
트렌트: 네 말을 들어야 될 것 같기도 해. 고장 사인을 붙이자.

* broken-down: 고장나다  
 
"Her car is broken-down on the freeway." (그 여자의 차는 프리웨이 위에서 고장이 났습니다.)
 
* eats money: 돈을 먹어버리다

* out of order: 고장이다
