(두 친구 딘과 폴이 버스를 기다리고 있다.)  
 
Dean: What's keeping that bus? It's fifteen minutes late.
 
딘: 버스가 왜 이리 늦지? 15분이나 늦네.
 

Paul: Maybe there was an accident.
 
폴: 사고나 있는지도 모르지.
 
Dean: You might be right. The bus is usually on time.
 
딘: 그런지도 모르겠네. 이 버스는 대개 정시각에 오는데.  
 
Paul: Do you want to walk? We might get to school faster if we go on foot.
 
폴: 걸어갈래? 걸어가면 학교까지 더 빨리 갈 수도 있어.
 
Dean: No. Let's wait a little longer.
 
딘: 아니. 좀 더 기다려보자.
 
Paul: (looking up the street) Wait a minute. I think it's coming.
 
폴: (길을 너머보며) 잠깐만. 오는 것 같아.
 
Dean: Is it the 260? We need to take the 260 Bus.
 
딘: 260번이야? 260번을 타야 하는데.
 
Paul: Yes it's the 260.
 
폴: 응. 260번이야.
 
Dean: Finally it's here.
 
딘: 드디어 왔구나.  
 
Paul: Well better late than never.
 
폴: 그래 늦더라도 안오는 것보단 낫지.
