(Roger is visiting his sister Diana in New York City…)

Diana: How did you sleep last night?

Roger: I went out like a light.

Diana: Good. You look rested.

Roger: I went to sleep the second my head hit the pillow.

Diana: Good. So what do you want to do today?

Roger: I'd like to go to different stores.

Diana: Which store first?

Roger: A bookstore.

Diana: There's a great bookstore just a hop skip and a jump from here.

Roger: Great. And I want to treat you to breakfast first.

"My bank is a hop skip and a jump away."

“She looks rested. Did she just get back from vacation?”

*(a place is) a hop, skip, and a jump from here (or away):

“My bank is a hop, skip, and a jump away.”

*treat (one) to (something):

“I want to treat you to these concert tickets. I’ll pay for them.”
