Roommates Annie and Sandra are washing Annie's car.  
(룸메이트인 애니와 샌드라가 애니의 차를 닦고 있다.)
 
Annie: Are you ready for the exams next week?
 
애니: 다음주 시험 준비는 다 했어?
 
Sandra: Yes but it's driving me up a wall.

 
샌드라: 응. 그런데 시험 때문에 아주 골치 아파.
 
Annie: What are you worried about?
 
애니: 뭐가 걱정인데?
 
Sandra: I don't have a handle on idioms.
 
샌드라: 관용구 공부가 잘 안돼.
 
Annie: We're in the same boat. Idioms are hard for me too.
 
애니: 나하고 같구나. 나도 관용구가 어렵더라.
 
Sandra: Really?

Annie: Yes. But if we pull together maybe we can get a good grade.
 
애니: 응. 하지만 우리 둘이 힘을 합하면 점수를 잘 받을 수 있을 거야.
 
Sandra: That's a good idea.
 
샌드라: 그거 괜찮은 생각이다.
 
Annie: After we finish washing the car let's study idioms.
 
애니: 차 다 닦고 나서 관용구 공부하자.
 
Sandra: Okay.
