Ted: I like your product but your price is too high.
 
테드: 물건은 맘에 들지만 가격이 너무 세군요.
 

Salesman: That is the best I can do.
 
세일즈맨: 그게 제가 할 수 있는 최선이에요.
 
Ted: It might be a good price if I were buying one but I’m buying forty.
 
테드: 하나를 산다면 좋은 가격일 수 있지만 전 40대나 사는 건데요.
 
Salesman: That’s a drop in the bucket.
 
세일즈맨: 그건 별 것 아니에요.
 
Ted: But we have twelve other offices in the U.S. And Canada.
 
테드: 하지만 우린 미국과 캐나다에 사무실이 12개가 있는데요.
 
Salesman: Are you buying for those offices too?
 
세일즈맨: 그 사무실에도 컴퓨터를 사는 겁니까?
 
Ted: If the price is right and we like the way they perform.
 
테드: 가격이 맞고 컴퓨터가 잘 작동하면요.
 
Salesman: How many are we talking about?   세일즈맨: 몇 대를 사시는 겁니까?
 
Ted: Now we’re talking about cutting a deal for forty in this office.
 
테드: 지금이야 이 사무실에 두는 40대를 얘기하는 거죠.
 
Salesman: I think you’re dangling a carrot in front of me but I think we can do it.
 
세일즈맨: 당근을 놓고 저한테 협상을 하시는 것 같은데 어쨌든 그렇게 해드리죠.
