(점심 시간에 회사내 카페테리아에서 매튜가 조지의 옆 자리에 앉아있다가…)
Matthew: Hi. Okay if I join you?
매튜: 안녕 합석해도 돼요?
George: Go ahead.
조지: 그래요.
Matthew: (Sitting down) My name is Matthew. I‘m new here.
매튜: (자리에 앉으며) 매튜라고 해요. 신입 사원이에요.
George: I know.
조지: 알아요.
Matthew: How did you know?
매튜: 어떻게 아세요?
George: Word gets around.
조지: 말이 돌니까요.
Matthew: I just started three days ago. How about you? How long have you been here?
매튜: 3일전부터 일 시작했어요. 그쪽은요? 얼마나 됐어요?
George: Since the beginning of time.
조지: 무지 무지 오래 됐어요.
Matthew: I heard you don’t talk very much; that you‘re quiet.
매튜: 말수가 아주 적다고 들었는데 그러시네요.
George: I speak my mind when I have to.
조지: 그래도 할 말이 있으면 확실히 얘기해요.

“I don’t always agree with him., but he speaks his mind.”
(난 그사람과 항상 의견이 어긋나기는 하지만 그 사람은 자기 생각을 숨김없이 말해.)
