[오늘의 생활영어] go back on your word; 약속을 깨다
Jenny: I'm sick and tired of watching television. Let's do something.
Kenny: What would you like to do?
Jenny: Anything but lying on the couch vegging.
Kenny: I've got a great idea. Let's go fishing.
Jenny: Fishing? You know I don't like to fish!
Kenny: Now I suppose you are going back on your word.
Jenny: What are you talking about? I didn't say I would go fishing.
Kenny: But you did say that you would do anything but watch TV.
Jenny: I'm not going along with your idiotic logic.
Kenny: Now I understand. You really just want to have an argument.
