(조이스와 리즈가 점심을 먹으며…)
Joyce: I think my boss has it in for me.
조이스: 직장 상사가 날 못 잡아 먹어 안달인 것 같아.
Liz: Why do you say that?
리즈: 왜 그런 말을 해?
Joyce: She complained all morning about a small mistake I made.
조이스: 내가 작은 실수를 하나 한 것 갖고 아침 내내 투덜거리잖아.
Liz: Maybe she got it out of her system.
리즈: 네 상사도 그 만큼 했으면 그만 할 때도 된 것 같은데.
Joyce: Probably not.
조이스: 그래도 계속 할 거야.
Liz: Why do you say that?
리즈: 왜 그렇게 말 해?
Joyce: Every time I talk to her she bites my head off.
조이스: 내가 무슨 말을 꺼내기만 하면 화를 버럭 내.
Liz: Why does she do that? You‘re a good employee.
리즈: 왜 그런대? 너 괜찮은 직원이잖아.
Joyce: I think so too. I just wish she would give me a break occasionally.
조이스: 내 생각에도 그래. 그냥 가끔은 날 좀 내버려 뒀으면 좋겠어.
Liz: Talk to her about it.
리즈: 그런 얘기를 상사한테 해.
