(It's 8 pm and John has just picked up his friend Dan from the airport…)

John: (Opening the door to his house) Here we are. This is my place.

잔: (집 문을 열며) 다 왔어. 여기가 우리 집이야.

Dan: Oh it's nice. You have a very nice house.

댄: 아 좋네. 집이 참 좋다.

John: Thanks. Hey are you hungry?

잔: 고마워. 근데 배고파?

Dan: Yes I am. I didn't eat on the airplane. I can't stand airplane food.

댄: 응 배 고프네. 비행기에서 안 먹었거든. 기내식은 질색이야.

John: I know what you mean. I don't like it either.

Dan: Where's the closet? I'll unpack my bags.

John: The closet is in your bedroom on your right.

Dan: Thanks.

댄: 고마워.

John: I've got some leftover chicken and rice I made last night.

잔: 어젯밤에 내가 만든 닭 요리와 밥 남은 게 좀 있는데.

질색이다.
